I met a Magician. His cloak was shiny and beautiful, his enormous bright energy was floating through the air like a rainbow light turning everything into a fairy-tale wherever he would pass.
I couldn’t take my eyes off the Magician. Something in his eyes allowed me to remember who I was like a light shining and turning the magic on in my heart. Every time he smiled there would be millions of stars appearing in the space and lighting up my energy.
The Magician was so big and so endless. His only glance would sparkle all the beings in the sky and let them free. The birds loved him, the stars adored him, the rainbows would settle down on his shoulders as he played with the energy.
The Magician told me he wasn’t always like that. He told me a story that was hard to believe and only the love look in his eyes would make me feel it was the truth.
Once upon a time, he was strong and sparkly and nothing ever could harness his powers. He was living light and cheerful thinking of no future and enjoying the moment in the now. Back then he was an ordinary Magician and practiced on Earth. He wasn't aware of his big powers yet and was taking life as it came. But then something happened. There was a curse like a thunderbolt light that hit the Magician and turned him into a stone. He couldn’t move, he couldn’t use his magic. Every time he would take his Magic wand to start the energy going, it would fall apart. The Magician thought he lost it all.
He would spend days sitting in his stone shell trying to remember who he was. The stone was so vivid and believable that he almost got convinced that that was the best he could be. Something kept telling him he shouldn’t lose hope so he tried to enjoy every moment of his life and do the best he could no matter how hard it was for him.
I looked into the eyes of the Magician as he was speaking and I could feel the divine birds flying into my heart. The sparkles of his presence lit up his energy and were turning him into different colours now: pink, yellow, silver, violet, green. He was telling his story with the eyes and colours, how beautiful it was!
What happened then, I asked the Magician. How did you become who you are now. It seemed incredible to me that he could go through such a troublesome time and forget the power that he had.
The Magician smiled again and the beautiful birds rushed in my heart. He said that he couldn’t find a clue for a long time and was trying different cures from distant magical lands. The fairies and dwarves, Unicorns and Wizards were getting there to help him as they loved him so much. All in all it took a while until the Magician starting realising one important truth. He had to do it himself.
As soon as he realised it, the Magic started to come back to him. His heart turned Gold and was shimmering bright inside of his body starting to melt down the hard stone of the curse. The Magician focused hard on bringing the light into his heart and every time he was doing that the invisible stone was melting down and setting him free. The Magician told me that he became peaceful and knowing and that trust helped him to grow. Nothing could stop the Magician now.
The Witches and the Scoundrels of the land dazed in surprise as they saw the Magician rising up above the land bigger and bigger. He was no longer stone, the Magic spell was broken, instead he was turning into a massive shimmering light that was bigger than Earth, bigger than ground, bigger than the Sky. He was everything now.
His soul expanded, his light shone far beyond. The millions of sparkles in his energy formed into a beautiful being who was almost unrecognizable from the smaller Magician who he was before. He transformed.
I couldn’t stop admiring the Magician. So this is what made him so beautiful, he had to go through this hardship to learn and remember how magnificent he was. I reached out to my heart with the light of my palm and opened it wide. The dozens of divine birds of all colours flew from my heart and landed on the Magician. I wanted to show him my Love.
The Magician laughed as the birds were singing songs and exchanging colours in his energy. At this point his energy became even stronger, even more shimmering. I suddenly looked into his eyes and remembered that I met him before. I met him when he was an ordinary magician and when he was a stone. But there was always a feeling that told me he was so special. I always wanted to remind him of it. When he was a small magician, I wanted to take his hand and go with him. When he was a stone I wanted to cast the spell to make the stone turn into white crystal water of love. Now I was admiring him through his path and feeling so happy that he made it. The birds in my heart turned into bright pink light and coloured everything in this pure red vibration. We were bathing in the light and I felt that the power was coming back to me too.
You know what, said the Magician when we exchanged colours. The lesson I learnt was to trust the moment and trust myself. If I had believed that the stone spell was the end of me, I would have never grown into what I am now. If I believed in my limitation, I would still remain that little magician. But I believed myself and I trusted. I opened my heart and let the light in. And the moment I did it, Magic started to happen.
The Magician was laughing and he grew even bigger in the sky. Now there was only this pure light energy emanating everywhere around. I could no longer see myself or perceive myself as I joined into this light and it just felt so wonderful. There was just a flow.
And I realised. I had no limitations too. I could grow and expand and become light any time that I needed to, I just needed to think of it and allow myself to expand. Was I ever limited? Were we ever confined to anything? No, we weren’t. There was always a pure light that existed and all the rest were experiences, thoughts and projections.
I felt so grateful to the Magician for this lesson. Perhaps I was a Magician too who was recognising his powers. Time will show. Feeling the most beautiful Love now, I turned myself into millions of little hearts and decided to spread through the Earth and see what was going to happen.
