I read this book in its original Portuguese in 2002, and am over-joyed that it is now available to the English-speaking world.
It is important to remember that, the Historic accounts recorded to date, are fragmentary collections of MAN, made by MAN, based on his egotistical perceptions, of pride, vanity and selfishness,... interspersed, with a mere fragment of the reality of those times, and the common people who suffered on a daily basis.
